How to: Draw arrows on an Excel worksheet or chart.
Solution:
Click arrow toolbar button from the 'Drawing' toolbar. Position the cursor where the arrow is to begin. Press and hold down the mouse button and drag to draw the arrow.
1) Display the 'Drawing' toolbar if it is not already displayed on the screen:
a) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Toolbars...'. (The Toolbars dialog box appears.)
b) Select the 'Drawing' check box. (The Drawing toolbar appears.)
2) Click 'Arrow' toolbar button.

3) Position the cursor where the arrow is to begin.
4) Press and hold down the mouse button and drag to draw the arrow.
NOTE: Press and hold down SHIFT while dragging to draw perfect vertical, horizontal and 45 degree angle lines.
5) Release the mouse button when the desired length is reached.
NOTE: The style, color and weight of the arrow can be changed by selecting the 'Format' menu and selecting 'Object...'.
